Visiting Grandma

Every week, we try to make it an effort to visit Ethan's grandma. We enjoy this, we know grandma enjoys it as well, and I am sure Ethan will grow up to appreciate it.

Constipation is tough...

Life as a baby is tough. Unlike the adults, you can only drink milk everyday. So what this means is that without extra fibre from vegetables, Ethan can sometimes find it hard to erm... "let go". But he puts in every effort.. checkout his expressions.. hahaha...

After the wipe down..

After the wipe-down, I get dressed up in my pajamas. But tonight being special, I get to wear a nice long-sleeves T-shirt.. Look handsome right?

Look! Ethan's ready to play the World Cup. Now Auntie Veron bought these shoes for him to walk on..but I guess when he learns to walk, these shoes will not fit.. Haha.. OK this confirms we have a Big Foot in our ancesty roots..

Just woke up.

In this picture, Ethan looks he just woke up from an afternoon nap. Now, napping is awfully important for us because if he naps well in the afternoon, we'll have a peaceful evening feed. He will not be so grouchy.. As Auntie Yvonne always say, Ethan is a grouchy baby. We then to think he is pondering on the next important invention. Haha..

Ethan is getting more and more aware about his surroundings. Here, he is looking at the camera and also his toys. Mmm. He certainly has big eyes..

Going back in time

Here one of the earlier scans taken of Ethan. This one was done on the 31st of October 2005. Which means we are probably only 5 months into the pregnancy.. I'll post more pictures tomorrow.

2 days to D-day

2 days before the Big Delivery day, here's Maureen posing in front of the cote. She is all ready for her new son. Look at that stomach. Ethan is still inside there! And he is a big boy. No surprises!

Feeding Ethan in the hospital

Here's a recap of what happened while we were in the hospital a couple of days after the delivery. I managed to pull this video out of my mobile phone. This video was taken on the 18th of march 2006, between 2am and 5am...

As our son is G6PD, he had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days after Maureen was discharged. So how did we breastfed him? Here's how! We visited him after midnight; armed with milk expressed a couple of hours ago; as well as Maureen would also express more milk during this visit!

Finally! i can hold my rattle!

Finally! I can hold my rattle; although it is just for that few seconds. Hahah.. but my mommy was very proud of me. Are you proud of me too?

Have you seen my daddy's hair? It is LOONNGG!! ok. he should get a hair cut soon or else people would think I have 2 mommys... hehee..

my winter palace

My winter palace is a place that is cool and slightly dark. To make my sleep time more enjoyable, mommy and daddy prepared 3 friends to play with me; a frog, a butterfly, and a tortise. See me play with my friends.

My summer palace

For all you uncles and aunties. You may like to know that I have 2 palaces. One in my daddy's and mommy's bedroom; the other one is in the living room. Both palaces have their unique specialties. Today let me introduce to you my summer palace. I have my own guard dog, my own air-con and fan, plus all the necessary items such as powder, nappies, etc. You can visit me at my summer palace anytime!

Have you seen the smaller mushroom?

OK. For those who don't know, this is our smaller mushroom. Remember the big mushroom? well, the smaller mushroom is currently in JC 2, so she has plenty of important stuff to talk to her friends about. Usually such important conversations coincidentally happens during our dinner time. So instead of chatting with the family, she is usually chatting on her handphone.

Every morning, Ethan will talk to Grandma for a couple of minutes. It is really interesting; trying to understand baby talk.

You guess it right; these are the infamous bandits of the Asia, also known as heibaishuangmou (look at that Osama guy... looks like lauyao.. haha); No lag, just kidding.
