papa & mama always wants me to sleep early but i just couldn't sleep.i'm like papa a nite bird.

Big-Uncle's visit

9 months old.. bedtime pictures

It's bedtime... here's 2 pictures of Ethan before bedtime... He is very curious about the music toy (that deer-head toy) that's hanging off his cot.. usually he sleeps in his cot till in the middle of the night (something like 3 am) when he's semi-awake. I'll carry him out of his cot and let's him sleep between the 2 of us.. sigh.. the sacrifices we do for our kids... (pictures taken 14-12-2006)

Ethan is 9 months old and its really a big deal. He is a lot more active now. He crawls on the floor. He likes everyone (he lets everyone carry him). Here's a picture of Ethan and Kong-Kong (Grandfather). And another picture of him "upset" because I won't let him crawl on the floor. There's also a picture of a delighted Ethan when I "throw" him into the air. Also there's plenty of pictures of Ethan playing.He's very curious. When he crawls on the floor, he wants to touch new things; furniture, floor, table, paper, etc... We have to be careful when we carry him near the christmas tree. (pictures taken on 14-12-2006)

Mommy knitting..

Maureen is knitting again. This time, it is a scarf for each of us; Ethan, Mom, and loving husband, me! Thank you dear dear.. (picture taken in the living room, 10th Dec 2006)

Nap time...

Ethan takes 1-3 naps a day. Sometime in the morning (after his bath and 1st feed), in the afternoon (around 2pm) and another one in the evening (5pm to 7pm). He sleeps in his favorite bassinet cum chair.. with 2 towels beside head to keep his head steady and cover his ears from any noise of course.

In the evening, either his Grandma or Granny will let him sleep in their arms when they are watching TV. see picture for an example. (Pictures taken on the 10th December 2006)

Notice this is a different hanging toy? This new one was bought from IKEA. The old toy has been irreversibly destroyed by our son. He is strong. and destructive. So to replace to old toy, a cheaper IKEA one. correct? (This picture was taken on the 8th of December 2006)

Its feeding time..

He likes to lie this way when he has his milk... Bony people need not apply... (6/12/2006) By the way, Ethan is 8 days away from being 9 months old!! Did you notice the unique playpen behind my mom? Its a large 6-sided playpen (average 1.5m in diameter). I'll show you more later..

Acting cute

Ethan has been 'acting cute'. You know, trying to be cute. His way to get/draw attention. He'll tilt his head sideways to look at you... Cute?

Hats! Hats! Hats! These hats are knitted by Maureen but not for Ah Boy. These are meant to be donated to a charity that is helping out hospitals to supply hats for pre-mature babies.. (October 3rd 2006)

Our $270,000 investment..

Guess what. We finally got our keys to our new resale flat. Its a 4 room HDB at Bishan.. the original condition.. well.. requires some touch-ups. So it'll be a while before it place is ready. On the whole.. ok... can be better...

7 months old...

Hey! I am now 7 months old! This is an important milestone...I can now sit up (with support and help) and I am learning how to crawl.. don't i look cute? Should I start my fan club?

Sleepy Ah Kong and Korean dramas..

I am proud to say that my Ah Kong owns every single Korean dramas available in Singapore. You name it, he has it. It is his ultimate past-time for 2006. So much so, that we no longer watch cable, news, or Singapore programs.. haha.. How can Ah Kong keep up with all that long dreary dramas? erm... now you know how.. (for those that still don't get it.. Ah Kong don't watch dramas.. the dramas watch Ah Kong)... HAHHAHAHAA....

Third wedding of the year! Uncle Kwang Shin & Aunite Grace

It's bath time! want to see my uncensored and naked pictures?

Bath time is my favorite time. Ethan loves playing in his tub. Spashing his bath water is a must activity. As he gets older, it is now more difficult washing his hair (while carrying him); soon, when he sits steadily, we'll get him to sit while washing his hair.
