More pictures of Elijah! 1st week and 2nd week.. May 2008

I am 1 weeks old! Here's looking at you. You can see, we're a nice quiet baby...

After 2 weeks of growing, sleeping, shitting, crying, drinking, and bathing.. Elijah is heavier. Did I tell you guys taking care of Elijah is different from when we had Ethan? Elijah is a smaller baby. So he's like my delicate treasure. We just were so careful with him; unlike Ethan, being a bigger baby at birth, you feel more confident when handling Ethan. Of course big has its disadvantages as well. Ethan is always hungrier, needs more attentions and of course shits a lot more.. hee..

Did this happen in May 2008 too?

In case you are wondering; my dad is clothed from the waist down OK! It may have "slipped" just a tat lower from the waist, that's all!!

OK. Its the ritual of cleaning the fish pond. Not taking a wade inside the pond to cool down OK!!

Hee.. But serious (oops! Pun!) it is halirious seeing my dad clean the pond. Its no easy job ok. And you can imagine if you're doing it when you're in your 60s. My dad's a really fit guy. Quite a DIY person (depends on which area of course).

This particular blog is in celebration of his zeal to upkeep his house. Thanks dad! Great job!

More celebrations in May 2008

There's more than just Elijah's party in May. It is an important milestone. Elijah is 1 month old. Here's a picture of Elijah.

Also in May, are my and my aunt's B'day. As usual, my 1st born takes the limelight.

Kudos to Swensens. I love this ice-cream place. Free B'day ice-cream for the B'day person. Maureen and I make it a point to go Swensens during our B'days...

OK. Managed to dig out more pictures of the party. Here you see the "door gifts" for friends, Elijah, sleeping, surrounded with plenty of angpows, and of coz the cake again. I love the cake. Can't vouch for the taste though.

Still botah! OK. He's more botak than Ethan. But just as adorable. You know, things we learnt while taking care of Ethan, we will now know what and how to better take care of our new baby. I'm also more confident. Here's Elijah sleeping downward. With Ethan, we hardly do this position.

Only 19 days old and Elijah is already so adorable.

Perhaps you can tell from the pictures, Elijah is a less vocal baby.

He is really easy to "handle". He sleeps more, and don't fuss much..

You're 1 month old Elijah!! (May 2008)

On May 10th, we celebrated Elijah's 1 month. Remember, the cake design? Tah-da!! Here's the final outcome. Cakes were given to relatives only while friends gets something else.

I guess Elijah's 1 month is our celebration for everyone but it is also our way to thank everyone.

On the other hand, it can be a good excuse for throwing a party too.
