More pictures of that infamous sweater?
ok, he looks good in that sweater. So might as well post a couple more pictures of Ethan and that infamous sweater. For those of you who wants learn how to knit it, well you can't! you see, the thread is so called "limited edition" (0r others may say, out of production). So feast your eyes on a one and only of a kind sweater. ha. In the meantime, don't forget to enjoy the model too!
By the way, a side note from the sweater manufacturer, Maureen: those that got knitwears from her before, consider yourself lucky (myself included) because she will only knit for her prince from now on... boo hoo hoo....
wah... so handsome...
Now i have competition... my son (according to my wife) says he is more handsome than me.. ME!! how can!!! ok i have to admit, he is kinda cute, definitely younger than me, but hey! i have more hair than him ok!!
Alas, it must be the sweater he is wearing. You see, mommy made it for him.. just nice.. and before he outgrows this sweater, i'll just have to give it to him.. tentatively he is more handsome.. must be the sweater lah...
Zodiac doggie
For those of you who had visited my family; you'd realise there are plenty of doggie figurines. Did we get them because of Ethan (who is incidentally born in the year of the dog)? On the contrary, to set the record straight, NO. Well, not all that is.. this 3 doggies were bought by his Granny Julie. I am sure she loves him and thus bought these guys from Singapore Mint to celebrate his arrival. nice ya?
On the side note, what do you guys think of this photo? hehe..
Hey, did i become bigger?
For those who are keeping track to Ethan's growth, you'll be happy to know that this boy has grown 4cm per month. As of 13th of May, he was 62cm and 6.23kg. A big boy! While some may say he is thus easier to handle, on the contrary, this depends on situations. E.g. carrying him is heavy. Changing his clothes is a little tougher (he tends to kick when he is unhappy). And of course, he shits more, farts louder (he farts louder than me, I swear!), and of course cries louder..
But if good growth means a healthy baby, i say, GROW BABY GROW!!

Milk on the go!
This boy is testing his limits! Well, there are many ways you can view this situation; either he is testing Granny's arm strength; he like to dine on air; or he like to multi-task. Probably, none of the above; he's grouchy, lack of sleep, so he is being difficult. haha..
But i must confess, Granny is awfully patient with him. Personally, i can't perform this feat. I leave it to Granny. I would have given him a big smack on the bottom and said, "drink up! or no more milk for you tonite!" (Just kidding lah, before i can smack him, i would have been disowned by the family). Honestly, if he gets enough of his afternoon naps, he's quite a lovely baby.

Perfect Fit
Hmm.. there is a perfect fit after all. Ha. Honestly, i have no idea how big Ethan's feet are.
One thing for certain, they certainly grow very fast. Not just his feet though, Ethan is growing very fast on the whole. After 30 days of existence, he has grown 6cm. wow. I remember a time when i wish i can grow an extra 6cm.. hahhaa.. but of coz i am stuck at the height of ... let's not talk about this.. hehe...
There will be more growing to do...

Yum yum..
There's something beautiful about mom and baby. Feeding time is bonding time. But can you say that about feeding in the middle of the night at 4am?
Fortunately he's a pretty predictable kid. And more importantly, with the both of us; me taking the 12 midnight to 3am; mau after 3am.. we make a super tag team...
Now where is that tag-team champion belt...
BIG FOOT
OK. I remember a time when i had difficulties even finding a shoe that fits my foot. No.. i don't have large feet.. i have small ones.. too small such that I can't even find a pair of shoes for me in Germany...haha..
which reminds me.. hmm.. my son is really growing fast! and i really mean fast.. these socks knitted by Mau's eldest sis, Auntie Veron to Ethan, can't even fit my son.. so there is only a couple of reasons for this:
A) the socks were meant for Maureen but they shrank so Auntie Veron decided to donate them to Ethan
B) Auntie Veron is stingy (hehehe....)
C) Santa or the postman swapped the right socks will smaller ones...
D)My son has the imfamous BIG genes...
Of course, wanting to be welcomed by the Yap family next year in Australia, i have to conclude with D...
But seriously.. i think there is a Santa-Postman conspiracy out there...
Am I that adorable?
So what makes a baby adorable? Those big bright eyes? the rare occasional smiles? that shining bo-tak head? hmm.. i wonder...
perhaps its that very human nature where afterall we are suckers for all of the above.. haha...
i remember that was a time when i am not a happy camper when it comes to babies. When i see one, the most immediate thought was.. scram!! not that i hate babies, but rather i am not "attracted" to them.. their simply little people whom i'll probably find hard hold a decent conversation with..
But having one's own kid really changes one's mind-set.. who would imagine me setting up a blog not for myself but for my kid. haha.. and all these countless hours spent on our now extinct website, www.geocities.com/thamfamilysg hahaha....
my darling Ethan.. papa loves you...
